Dear Colleagues and Friends,<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

Following the very successful\u00a0first edition<\/strong>\u00a0of the Paros meeting on anatomo-clinical correlations in epilepsy surgery, we are delighted to announce the\u00a0second edition<\/strong>, which will take place in\u00a0May 11-15, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n

This new edition will focus on\u00a0SEEG-based direct electrical brain stimulation<\/strong>, aiming to create a comprehensive and complementary reference resource for the global epilepsy community in the years to come. To achieve this,\u00a050 internationally renowned experts<\/strong>\u00a0from leading epilepsy centers across\u00a020 countries and 5 continents<\/strong>\u00a0will contribute to this unique initiative.<\/p>\r\n

It is jointly supported by the\u00a0International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE)<\/strong>,\u00a0EpiCARE<\/strong>, and the\u00a0educational journal\u00a0<\/strong>Epileptic Disorders<\/strong><\/i>, which will publish the resulting systematic reviews. The\u00a0first edition in 2024<\/strong>\u00a0attracted close to\u00a0350 registered participants<\/strong>, both in-person and online, from\u00a035 countries<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n

This event offers an exceptional opportunity to engage with the international epilepsy community and brings together leading experts for\u00a0five days of high-level scientific exchange<\/strong>\u00a0in a truly exceptional setting\u2014the magnificent island of Paros, in the Greek Cyclades. Once again, this meeting is made possible thanks to the generous support of the\u00a0Greek League Against Epilepsy<\/strong>. We anticipate a memorable and intellectually stimulating gathering that will serve as a\u00a0milestone in the field of SEEG and epilepsy surgery<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n
